Diann Marsalek


Diann has served on the 23 District Steering Committee over ten year and is the current Chairperson of the Steering Committee and served as the Treasurer for many years. Diann has worked to establish a web page for the organization and expanded the membership. She has worked on all of the Steering Committee projects including Officer Appreciation Day, securing funding of bicycles for the station and underprivileged Children’s Holiday Party and promoting working relationships with the businesses in the area and the police.

Diann is a Board President of the Lake View Citizen’s Council and serves as the Chairperson of the Anti-Crime Committee. She also is the President of Central Lake View Neighbors. Diann Marsalek is a lawyer and lives in the Lake View area.

Doug Hinshaw


Doug has served for years on the Committee and has been the Secretary for the last few years. Doug volunteers for Police Appreciation Day and the Children's Holiday Party. Doug also is working on a scholarship program involving the 23rd District.

Mark Knight


Mark Knight is the Assistant Vice President at State Bank of Countryside. Mark and the State Bank of Countryside have been active in the Lake View Community for the past 8 years. Mark has been a member of the 23 District Steering Committee for over 2 years. Mark received his B.A. at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1994. He has worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a tax assessor, American Funds Service Company (mutual funds company) in Indianapolis, National City Bank in Indianapolis, and the State Bank of Countryside in Chicago. He is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin- Madison

Jim Ludwig


North side of Chicago business owner and community leader in Lakeview Neighborhood for 30+ years. Currently serves as President of Triangle Neighbors Association for 15+ years, and immediate Past-President of Lake View Citizens’ Council, Chairman of its Wrigley Field Neighborhood Protections Committee. In 1987 started Roscoe’s Tavern & Sidewalk Café and operated for 20+ years. Currently serves as Chairman of City of Chicago SSA - North Halsted for 10+ years, member of Northalsted Area Merchants Association for 20+ years and Past-President, and currently serves on Chicago Police Department 23 District Steering Committee & CAPS Program for 12+years. Since 1977 a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois and in Florida for 10+ years, and owns & manages apartments and condominiums.

Mary Krueger


Mary joined Standard Bank and Trust in May 2006, where she began working for our Clark St office in the Lakeview neighborhood. After a period of time, Mary transferred to our Oak Lawn office where she continued to service and exceed the customer’s expectations. In April of 2008 Mary rejoined our Lakeview offices and has wasted no time representing the bank in various events. Mary represents the bank on the Lakeview Chamber, Junior Achievement, and the Steering Committee. Mary enjoys being active in the area she works in and representing the bank any way that she can. Mary has helped contribute on behalf of the bank with the Northside Pride Parade, Southport Halloween Walk and Kid’s Day America. Mary and her husband Keith live in Oak Lawn, where they enjoy spending their free time traveling.
